Today as I was considering what I was going to paint, the song based out of Psalm 118 was stuck in my head. "This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it."
This painting reflects the joy I experienced today. Not because everything went my way, or even because life feels perfect right now. My joy isn’t rooted in circumstances, it’s found in knowing and walking with Jesus Christ. I rejoice because He made this day, He saved me from my sins, He gave me purpose, and His goodness toward me never fails.
