Laguna in Bloom

A blanket of flowers spreads across the bluff, giving way to the soft curve of shoreline and the deep blues of the Pacific. Laguna in Bloom captures a beautiful moment of coastal color and light, inspired by the hillsides of Laguna Beach, California—a place with deep roots in my family’s story.

This painting is a tribute not only to the beauty of the California coast but to my great-great-grandfather, Isaac J. Frazee, who made the first known artistic depiction of Laguna Beach in 1878.

Printed with rich color on heavyweight, museum-grade paper, this piece captures the layered textures and warmth of the original pastel work. It’s a celebration of light, beauty, and the legacy of creativity that runs through my family line.
