The Promise Beneath The Clouds

Original Oil Painting by Danny Vasquez

There are moments when the world seems suspended between darkness and day—when the horizon quietly announces what the sky has not yet fully revealed.
This painting reflects that sacred tension. The light is present, yet incomplete. It has begun to break through the weight of the clouds, casting its first reflection upon the water before the fullness of dawn arrives.
In many ways, this is the story of hope itself. We often live between what has been promised and what has not yet come to pass. We catch glimpses of restoration, moments of peace, and reminders that the light is already at work, even while much remains unseen.

This is part of the Already and Not Yet collection of oil paintings rooted in the glimpses we see of eternity and God's glory through the sky, the land, the sea, and all creation. A glory we can experience in part, but not yet fully– Already and Not Yet.

This is an original, one-of-a-kind painting. It will not be reproduced. Once it finds its home, it is gone.
